It’s Freezing In The Desert
Today was quite the surprise here in the Desert. The other day we hit record temperatures and today it feels like it’s freezing around here.
Well maybe not freezing but for people who live here in the Phoenix area it’s quite a radical change. It went from 110 degrees one day to less than 70 degrees today.
Now I’m not complaining about the cool weather. I love it. Especially in May when it should already be in the triple digits.
What we’re dealing with here is all a matter of perception to what happens to you. Because the bottom line is stuff happens, but it’s what you do with what you’re dealt that makes the difference as an Entrepreneur.
I have been dealt a few things lately and not just the weather. Early this week I came down with a nasty head cold that took me out for a few days. I don’t get sick often and this year seems to be the year that I got more than my share. Hence, stuff happens.
Now I could blame my brother in-law Mark who is the person that is most likely spreading all this around our family, but is it really his fault or did stuff happen?
Could it be that maybe I wasn’t prepared enough and my immune system was down?
Possibly. Again it boils down to perception. You may be wondering how all this relates to being and Entrepreneur.
Let me explain…
There are a lot of things that happen that can affect our Entrepreneurial businesses and then we start playing the blame game. And it’s quite easy to do that. I could blame my brother in-law or I could blame the weather or I could blame a number of things outside my control for having to take a couple of days off to recover instead of working on my business.
I could do that, couldn’t I?
I sure could and that would be an easy thing to do. But here’s the secret…
If I started playing the blame game is that going to change anything?
You’re right. It won’t change a thing.
Why would I waste time and energy on blaming anything for what happened? That would be silly for me to do that, wouldn’t it?
Of course it would. But the truth is most Entrepreneurs blame everything around them as being the problem why they aren’t succeeding. Ok, there I’ve said it.
Now before you start blaming me or justifying why you haven’t been as successful as you want to be, I want you to ask yourself this question: Is blaming or justifying your lack of success on anything outside yourself going to help you?
I want you to really think about that. Blaming and justifying may make you feel better… at least for a little while, but in the long run it’s actually taking away even more from your success.
You may want to read that last paragraph again. It’s vitally important to the success of your Entrepreneurial Business.
Any time you waste energy blaming or justifying what happens, you give away your personal power and you become a whiner instead of a winner. A chump instead of a champ.
Every time you waste energy on stuff that happens instead of focusing on a solution to your challenge, you’re moving backwards. And that’s why you must understand that stuff does happen, but it’s more important for you think differently about it when it does.
I could complain about not feeling well. Instead I chose to look at it as having time off to let my body build itself up even stronger than it was before. Now that’s a different way of looking at it, isn’t it?
You bet it is and it’s also much more empowering than saying I got sick and it’s my brother in-laws fault, and I lost a few days and on and on…
Are you getting the idea here?
Good I knew you would. It’s all about perception and perception is what’s running everything in your life. It’s nothing more than a program running at the unconscious level of your mind.
If you want to be a Successful Entrepreneur, you must change your perceptions in order to win. I put a video together for you that will show you exactly how to manipulate your mind to generate automatic success the other week. If you haven’t watched it I suggest you watch it now.
This video will help you understand why you haven’t been able to get the results you want in your Entrepreneurial Business.
There are two parts to this video and unfortunately we had some technical challenges with the second part of the video. So I’ll have to let you know when it’s ready.
For right now just understand that blaming and justifying is a behavior and your behaviors are creating your results. The challenge is that you can’t change your behaviors directly so you must do something else in order to change them and that’s changing your perception.
In part two of the video, I’ll walk you through how you make the changes you need in order to manipulate your mind to create automatic wealth and be a successful Entrepreneur.
We should have this challenge fixed next week so think about what you learned today and when you come back from this Memorial Day Weekend, you’ll be ready for the next part.
Go ahead and Write a Comment and let me know what you learned. When you Write a Comment Now, you’ll not only share what you learned with others but more importantly you’ll engrain what you learned deep down at the cellular level where it’s going to make a difference in your life.
I look forward to reading your comments.
I’ve got to run for now so have a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend.
To Your Success,

Andy Fuehl
