Entrepreneurs Love Monday

Most of the working world hates Monday’s because it’s the start of their working week. The cartoon The Born Loser today points that out very clearly. So why do so many people hate Monday’s?

Quite Simply… Over 90% of Americans hate their jobs. They hate what they do.

I don’t know about you but I am less enthusiastic about having to do something I hate. Aren’t you?

Of course that’s only natural and normal. No one likes doing things they hate. But then why do so many people tolerate and stay at their jobs when they hate them?

Good question!

The answer is they don’t know what else to do. They are living their inherited purpose. So what’s an inherited purpose?

Let me explain…

I too was living my inherited purpose while working in corporate America. I hated my job. Each time I received a promotion, more responsibility and more money I became more miserable. I never understood why until I discovered I had been living my inherited purpose.

An inherited purpose is what your parents wanted for you. Let me give you an example. My inherited purpose came from my parents. They told me to get a good education, go to college, work for a large company and the company will take care of you. That’s exactly what I did. I received my Masters Degree from Illinois Institute of Technology and worked for Fortune 500 companies for over 15 years. But it didn’t work for me until I found my true purpose in life.

No wonder I didn’t like my job. That job wasn’t for me. So how did my life change since I found my true purpose in life?

It changed quite dramatically… I now love what I do. I look forward to each and every day I get to help more people become wealthy. In the process I went from being unemployed to becoming a millionaire in under 3 years.

The reason I was succeeded was I started doing work I love. It has been proven that the only way you really can ever succeed is by doing work you love.

When you no longer dread going to work on Monday you become unstoppable. You brighten peoples lives and they are happy to pay you for that.

I remember when I worked in corporate America, most people on a Monday would come in and when you asked them how they were, they replied with, “I’m here.” Or they might say something like “It’s Monday.”

Do you really think these people will ever get ahead?

I highly doubt it.

Have you ever done this?

It may be time for a change.

When they asked me how I was doing, I always smiled and said, “Fantastic.” Let me tell you. I thought several times they were going to have me hauled off in a straight jacket.

They thought I was nuts!

Can you understand why?

I’m sure you can.

This is also why I did so well in corporate America while I was there. I always thought that if I’m stuck here at my J.O.B. then I might as well make the most of being here.

As an Entrepreneur having a positive outlook is critical. If you are glum and depressed I guarantee you that you will go broke quickly. No one wants to deal with a depressed person. Do you?

I didn’t think so.

That’s why it’s so important to find work you love… And the only way you will find work you love is Discovering Your Purpose in Life or stated another way, your true passion.
