I have been working exceptionally hard lately with the trainings and preparation. Also I have been working numerous different deals to assist my clients to make more money.
It was time to slow down and recharge my batteries and do something completely different for a change. I decided that it was time to get the motorcycle out of mothballs and go for a ride.
I’m so glad I did…
It was nice getting on the open road and ride with a friend of mine. We went from Phoenix to Superior. From Superior we took the back roads to Kearney and then Globe.
This was a beautiful ride. The roads were winding and the scenery was awesome. It’s great to get back to nature and see the beauty.
We passed through several mining towns along the way and you could see the different color rocks that had been excavated. It was like looking at a pale rainbow.
We then started climbing and gaining altitude and reached nearly 5000 feet. The temperature cooled down nicely. What a nice break from the heat here in the desert.
Along the path was a flowing river. Now for those of you who know Arizona, this is rare. Most of the rivers are dry.
This river was so inviting I almost got off the bike to take a dip in the water. It was tempting let me tell you.
We kept going and finally we made it to Globe. We got some gas and refreshments. That sure did feel good to get something cold to drink.
I got a chance to talk to my friend for a while. He trades stock for a living now. He and I used to work together back in the days of a Job.
He told me that his trading had improved and now regularly makes $5000 to $10,000 per week in income. Not bad I’d say for someone who just started not too long ago.
I asked him what the key to his success was. He said two things: Mindset and emotional detachment.
I found that very interesting considering that I teach Entrepreneurs exactly that combination to succeed in the business of their choice. What he said was confirmation that what is necessary is a foundation to get your mind in the right place so you can make informed decisions without emotion.
That’s what successful Entrepreneurs do!
It’s just that simple.
The problem is most people are too emotionally driven and believe they must learn procedure first before getting their mindset right.
Wrong!

After we finished our discussion we started to head back for home. Now the trip wouldn’t be complete without stopping at Dairy Queen for a Peanut Buster Parfait!
It’s always great to have a treat along the road to success and a successful motorcycle trip.
As we approached Phoenix, the temperature climbed quickly. Luckily it wasn’t too far. After getting home I felt so much more refreshed and ready to tackle what’s to come this week.
So make sure you get focused while working and take some time off to recharge your batteries to stay balanced.
