Rising Gas Prices and What it Means to Entrepreneurs

There are several articles I came across that show what gas prices are doing to the general public. The first article shows fear. Look at the headline: Rising Gas Prices Hurt Poor Americans Most. This is the medias way to build fear in the general public.

The sad part is so many people are buying into it. Gas prices have been much higher all over the world for a long time. I remember when I went to Australia back in 1991. I paid $3.00 US per gallon when at home we were barely over $1.00 per gallon. I thought this was outrageous at the time. Now I am thankful I don’t have to pay what people pay in Australia.

The second article I found that shows gas prices all over the world. When you look at this article it shows we are still paying less than many. Think of it this way, be happy where you live. You could be paying much more. Again it comes down to how you perceive the situation.

Most people are cutting back on their use of gas. Now on the surface that is not all bad. The real question is are you cutting back because of fear? Because if you are cutting back because of fear of not having enough, then fear is running your life.
