Entrepeneur Training in Los Angeles

Wow, what a great weekend. I worked with the greatest media coach ever Joel Roberts and I took some time off and visited a friend of mine. Before I tell you what happened with Joel, I want to share with you what happened on my day off.

I decided to take some time off and see my good friend Ashok Patil. He was the person who started me on my path to get out of Corporate America back in 1995. It seems so long ago now.

Ashok used to work for me back at in Corporate America as a software development engineer. He knew at the time I was not happy and gave me a little book called The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra. I suggest you read this book as well.

Did I read the book at first? Absolutely not! It took me three months before I picked it up. After I did it changed my entire life. I will tell you more about that some other time.

Ashok at the time was also on his path to change. He knew what his passion was and followed it. He is now one of the top filmmakers in India. His first film Shapa was number one in the box office. His second film the Joke Falls ran for over 24 weeks at the theaters, which is almost unheard of in the industry.

It just goes to show you when you follow your passion what can happen.

We had a great time catching up. I really appreciate being with him because we helped each other to get out of the rat race. The question is do you have someone to help you? If you don’t I suggest you find someone to help you. It will make your journey much easier and more rewarding.

We had a lot of fun and discussed many different books we have read and what they meant in our path of growth. We both had several aha moments. When I got my aha moments I realized just how far I have come since I started my journey. To this day I count my blessings. I celebrated like crazy. The people in LA must have thought I was crazy. I didn’t care. It was a great realization.

I know I still have a long way to go and much to do. So instead of telling you about what happened with Joel Roberts today, I will tell you in my next blog entry. So stay tuned.
