Are You Building Your Network Marketing Business Upside Down?
I was talking with a person today who is in a Network Marketing Company. Now I’m not going to tell you which Network Marketing Company this is. Quite frankly it doesn’t really matter.
What matters is what I discovered about this person, which is a very common problem among Network Marketers.
This person was telling me how bad things were in his Network Marketing Business. He said that he was having a tough time making money and it seemed like nothing he was doing was working. He said that his Network Marketing Company provided training on how to grow his business but it just wasn’t working.
Can you relate to this?
I asked him some questions about the training he received from his Network Marketing Company and it was just as I suspected.
What I discovered was he was building his business upside down!
He was attempting to build a building with no foundation. Can you imagine how well a construction project like a building would turn out if you didn’t have a proper foundation?
It’s a disaster.
This is one of the reasons why there is a real high fall out rate of distributors in Network Marketing Companies. There are several others as well, which are very common to the Network Marketing Industry and I’ll get into that momentarily.
Don’t get me wrong here. It’s not the opportunity that’s the problem. It’s the thinking behind the opportunity that’s not working. Network Marketing can be a very lucrative business but you have to have the right ingredients in the right order to make it work.
If you’re in a Network Marketing Company, have been in one, or are considering one, there are a few things you better know so you can succeed…
I’ve worked with thousands of clients and many of them are in Network Marketing Opportunities. The challenge is they all bought the dream without having the right education before they got into the business.
Most of the people I’ve worked with have come to me because they couldn’t figure out how to make the Network Marketing Opportunity work for them. But after they discovered a few things everything changed.
Let’s see what it takes…
There are four essential elements you must know when you’re in a Network Marketing Opportunity.
First, you must have the right mindset before you get in. The bottom line is this. People don’t buy your products and services. They’re buying you. It’s amazing to me to see how many Network Marketing Companies actually forget to tell people getting into the business that this is what actually happens.
This is reality and if you aren’t the person you have to be and you don’t have the right mindset you’re going to have a tough time.
Second, if the Network Marketing Opportunity isn’t the right business for you’re going to be out of business quickly. Let me explain…
The business that you get into should express your Purpose in Life. If it doesn’t express Your Purpose in Life you will do everything possible to self sabotage yourself in order to get out of that business. When you discover and understand your Purpose in Life you can chose the right business opportunity for you.
That’s why you must discover Your Purpose in Life first before you pick a business so you can succeed.
Third, after you Discover Your Purpose in Life, then look for the opportunity. Now if you really like Network Marketing and you know your Purpose in Life, then I’m sure you’ll be able to find the right opportunity for you.
The problem is most people do this in reverse. They see a great opportunity and then jump on it and wonder why they’re failing miserably. This is one of the biggest contributing problems in the Network Marketing Industry.
And finally, you must learn how to sell. Yes I said the dreaded “S” word.
This is the one word that most people like to avoid but it’s the only thing that will make you money in any business. The biggest challenge in Network Marketing Companies around this word is they promise you that you won’t have to do any selling. Just let the system do the selling for you.
