This last weekend I was with my extended family. That’s my in-laws in case you didn’t figure that out. And by the way, there’s a whole bunch of them. My wife Tamar has three brothers and two sisters. It’s like visiting with the Brady Bunch.

And then there are the spouses and their kids; you get the idea. She comes from a very large family.

I love them all dearly and I feel so fortunate to have such a great extended family. I know a lot of people who really don’t and they don’t get along with their in-laws at all. I feel really blessed to have this situation.

Now it’s not always a bed of roses though. There are some challenges but it’s a great way to learn, grow, and stretch.

When I went to visit my family I decided to take my motorcycle. It’s a Harley Davidson Dyna convertible for you HOG fans out there. And when I ride my motorcycle my head just clears right up and all sorts of interesting things come to mind.

During my drive I realized how fortunate I am to be an Entrepreneur.

Even more so, I’m really fortunate that I’m an Entrepreneur that has succeeded in a few different money making business ideas along my journey and now I teach others how to do the same and becoming millionaires in the process.

When I’m on my motorcycle I feel the same freedom I do in my business.

Most people can’t say that and that’s unfortunate. The biggest challenge why they don’t feel freedom is because they’re working their business part time but still have employee thinking, they got into a business for the money but it isn’t producing any, or they’re flat out in the wrong business for them and they hate it.

Any one of these situations will make you feel stuck and feel like you’re in bondage.

If you feel this way, there is hope and I’ve said this in the past and I’ll say it again because so many people are stuck in this situation and that’s why over 90% of all people hate what they’re doing and over 95% of all businesses fail in the first five years.

This is so vital to your success but you got to get it right.

I feel like I can’t tell you this often enough because I know sometimes we have to hear something seven to nine times before we actually believe it and do something about it.

I was talking with a person today who is in a Network Marketing Company. Now I’m not going to tell you which Network Marketing Company this is. Quite frankly it doesn’t really matter.

What matters is what I discovered about this person, which is a very common problem among Network Marketers.

This person was telling me how bad things were in his Network Marketing Business. He said that he was having a tough time making money and it seemed like nothing he was doing was working. He said that his Network Marketing Company provided training on how to grow his business but it just wasn’t working.

Can you relate to this?

I asked him some questions about the training he received from his Network Marketing Company and it was just as I suspected.

What I discovered was he was building his business upside down!

He was attempting to build a building with no foundation. Can you imagine how well a construction project like a building would turn out if you didn’t have a proper foundation?

It’s a disaster.

This is one of the reasons why there is a real high fall out rate of distributors in Network Marketing Companies. There are several others as well, which are very common to the Network Marketing Industry and I’ll get into that momentarily.

Don’t get me wrong here. It’s not the opportunity that’s the problem. It’s the thinking behind the opportunity that’s not working. Network Marketing can be a very lucrative business but you have to have the right ingredients in the right order to make it work.

If you’re in a Network Marketing Company, have been in one, or are considering one, there are a few things you better know so you can succeed…

I’ve worked with thousands of clients and many of them are in Network Marketing Opportunities. The challenge is they all bought the dream without having the right education before they got into the business.

Most of the people I’ve worked with have come to me because they couldn’t figure out how to make the Network Marketing Opportunity work for them. But after they discovered a few things everything changed.

Let’s see what it takes…

There are four essential elements you must know when you’re in a Network Marketing Opportunity.

First, you must have the right mindset before you get in. The bottom line is this. People don’t buy your products and services. They’re buying you. It’s amazing to me to see how many Network Marketing Companies actually forget to tell people getting into the business that this is what actually happens.

This is reality and if you aren’t the person you have to be and you don’t have the right mindset you’re going to have a tough time.

Second, if the Network Marketing Opportunity isn’t the right business for you’re going to be out of business quickly. Let me explain…

The business that you get into should express your Purpose in Life. If it doesn’t express Your Purpose in Life you will do everything possible to self sabotage yourself in order to get out of that business. When you discover and understand your Purpose in Life you can chose the right business opportunity for you.

That’s why you must discover Your Purpose in Life first before you pick a business so you can succeed.

Third, after you Discover Your Purpose in Life, then look for the opportunity. Now if you really like Network Marketing and you know your Purpose in Life, then I’m sure you’ll be able to find the right opportunity for you.

The problem is most people do this in reverse. They see a great opportunity and then jump on it and wonder why they’re failing miserably. This is one of the biggest contributing problems in the Network Marketing Industry.

And finally, you must learn how to sell. Yes I said the dreaded “S” word.

This is the one word that most people like to avoid but it’s the only thing that will make you money in any business. The biggest challenge in Network Marketing Companies around this word is they promise you that you won’t have to do any selling. Just let the system do the selling for you.
